Aloysius Fobi

Biography

As a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician, Aloysius has demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems in high-stakes rapidly-moving situations. His 15 years working at a Level 1 trauma center have taught him to identify and anticipate problems, relax complex information simply, and act assertively when the situation demands. These same skills have translated well into the business world.

As a self-described “serial entrepreneur,” Aloysius has had several notable successes. In 2005, he built Mach Media, a wireless internet provider in Eastern Oregon that has over 50 square miles of coverage and is still in effect today. He has been involved in over $8 million in real estate transactions, subdivision development, and new constructions. He is a founding member and currently the VP of Business Development at NurseGrid, which is a mobile scheduling and logistics platform that provides services to over 190,000 nurses.

Aloysius earned his B.S. at Amherst College and his MD at the Oregon Health Science University (OHSU). He also serves as a medical consultant on legal matters and as an Associate Professor at OHSU.
